I was so honored to be asked to style the following 2 pieces for The March Fashion Issue of 7 x 7 Magazine with the oh so talented photographer Angie Silvy.
The first piece took me into Gina Pell's scrumptious closet. It was such a treat for me styling her (as I was a big fan of Splendora and I am a big fan of Joyus.com) AND her beyond ultimate closet. Her incredible whit and candor had me at hello when she welcomed me at her front door the morning of the shoot in her sweats with her contagious smile and her warm hug...I loved her instantly.
The second piece I styled for the March issue really got my creative juices following. I was given the challenge of styling six designers-in-residence chosen for the Macy's Fashion Incubator San Francisco Program in a very unique and personal way. I feel I was able to bring out each of their personalities even though the location in which the shoot took place in was a very simplistic and homogeneous space. I love getting creative and making "it work!"
