I have always appreciated jewelry aesthetics and how it can become unique pieces of art. I liked the most the ones that are a little more sculptural than the classic ones.
For me making jewelry goes a bit far from my work, but it’s a hobby that brings me a nice break from computers.
When I found this woven paper beads, I started making lots of them, combining different paper thickness and colors and playing using their volume and movement as a new shape.It’s a great way to combined different materials and most importantly give old magazines a great new life.
