This four month project involved researching, developing, and creating a branded product that included a seed exported from Canada. Tea Rau (In Maori, Rau is means "stand of trees") is a cradle to cradle design using Canadian birch trees grown in New Zealand and harvested for medicinal leaves as tea. The product is a compostable, portable tea cup with birch leaf tea affixed to the bottom and a cup sleeve made from birch seed paper which can be planted.
