This was the Toledo Antique and Classic Boat Show that took place Aug 22-23, 2015. It was held at the National Museum of the Great Lakes located in Toledo, Ohio.
A wonderful event showcasing antique and classic water crafts from the early to mid 1900's
I was fortunate enough to be the photographer for the event. This are some of my favorite shots. Most didn't have much to do with boats but were some opportunities I had to have some photography fun!
This and the next few photos were before the band started to play. They were a ragtime/jazz band and knew how to have fun. Fueled by beer and requests, they kept me dancing to music I never heard before.
This piano was a hoot! It was so beat up and trashed. 10min before they were starting we were applying superglue to the ivory on the keys so it would stay put.
However it looked... they sure could make it sing! Sounded great!
One of the main features of the show was the USS Niagara. She's a beautiful ship. It was neat to walk aboard and chat with the crew.
Just amazing weather. 80 and sunny with a breeze from the lake.
I was fortunate enough to catch a sunset ride on the river. Toledo is sure beautiful.
