This is a short I made as the final project at the online animation school animationmentor.com.
The film got nominated for best of festival at Animazing int. film fest in 2010.

I went for a visual style in the vein of Fritz Lang and old Ingmar Bergman.
I thought of trying to weave the bird theme into the design of the cliff. I wanted the rocks to cradle the egg like wings while also acting like a reminder of outside threats.
