During the last semester I have designed a conceptual footwear. I brought into harmony the lower and the upper part by the contrast of their mass. Emerging from the high, leather covered wooden sole, the steel fiber holds the foot, more specifically the inner big toe mound, the outer little toe mound and the ankle to the sole. The uncertainty of the wearing of the upper component is part of the concept, but the precisely engineered steel fiber holds the foot well. By bisecting the sole and connecting the two sides with steel rods, I have created a seemingly unstable, however solid and airy structure.
