The purpose of this design exploration is to develop a componentof the Toronto urban agricultural system that will provide residence with a lowcost, high value solution for growing safe food. Agriplex responds to theissues of growing food in spaces that are not conventionally large enough toproduce an adequate amount of food and is designed to support the crop withminimal maintenance. This system can be used to provide a source of income tolow income residence and can be used as an educational tool for intensive small-spaceproduction alternates. Agriplex is designed to grow food on balconies and urbansized decks.
