Typography & Type Attributes - Packaging
For a point of purchase display, I decided to be more conceptual and packaged typography and type attributes. It really bugged me how a lot of graphic designers had terrible type, so I decided to package various type terms such as hierarchy, leading, kerning, alignment, point size, tracking, font weights, and dingbats. The display was put into an old lead type case (not pictured) that was created out of old typography signs. The color palettes stay the same, but the smaller boxes are reversed color. I really enjoyed this project and it showcased my love of type. The boxes also came with cut out acrylic "A"s in different fonts, which had a bar code on the back. The idea was that you would grab the font and check out with it. Pretty cool? Enjoy!
