This piece is one of my favorite illustrations. The article was about Johnny Depp following in Hunter S. Thompson's footsteps when Depp found the Rum Diary journals. Depp took it upon himself to bring the journals to life and to bring Thompson's idea to reality. The illustration depicts Depp & Thompson sharing the same cigarette.  The concept is basically Depp and Thompson sharing the visions for film.
