Client: Equality Illinois
Summer, 2011
Taproot is a nonprofit foundation which connects skilled consults with organizations that are working for the social good via a grant-based staffing model.
After attending a Taproot presentation ealier in the year and signing on to be a pro bono consultant, I was later offered the role of Information Architect for a website redesign project.
To assist our team of consultants, I delivered:
· Initial concept sketches
· Existing site review, file/page descriptions, and proposed site-map
· Detailed wireframes documenting the main site navigation, core pages, and page templates
· Persona deveopment
· A comparative site review and
· Clickable prototype (jQuery, 960 grid).
The existing Home Page when we started the project.
The redesigned Home Page after a content audit, wireframes and visual design.
The full deck of wireframes that I created for the visual designers and engineers on the project.
