The radio station Cities 97 in Minneapolis, Minnesota produces a CD of artist recordings from Studio C and other event performances. In November of every year, they sell the CD at Target stores to raise money for Minnesota Charities. This year, they offered a limited run for sale online. 5,000 discs sold out in 40 minutes. The artwork for Volume 27 is reflective of many current visual trends – geometric (particularly triangular) motifs, hand-drawn elements and patterning mixed with photography, unusual color combinations with a vibrant, reinvented 90’s vibe.
