Disposable
A story about disposable objects taken by a disposable object.
I do live in a new city, until the early 1930's this used to be the bottom of the sea and only since the late 1960's the city it became land. Now a days (2012) Almere is nearly the fifth city of the Netherlands with about 200.000 citizens.

I do live in the newest part of the city, when I look out of my window I can see the skyline of Amsterdam. The first inhabitants of Almere Port started living here in 2008, it's growing extremely fast now. The part where I'm living in will eventually have about 30.000 inhabitants. Because Almere used to be the bottom of the sea, and  because there is a lot of space in the city (also called the green city) it's known as a windy place (a green windy city). A windy new place where not all public facilities are that good organized yet, something you just need to live with, and how stupid it may sound. I can get exited when I see another street has been finished, a new bus-stop or mailbox has been placed, etc. There is only one thing that borders me a lot... "litter". The puts a lot of effort in this place, same as lot's of people who live here. But when you create a temporary bus-stops with bycicle trades, why no garbage can? At the end cleaning up is always costs more than just replace a garbage can. And when you keep the city clean, other people will do more their best to keep it clean with you. I only took pictures on rainy days, so it looks as desperate as possible and the message will be brought to you as clear as possible. All photos are taken by a Kodak disposable analogue camera.
