This is just a little photographic journey around my house. I am fortunate enough to have a mother with a good taste for interior design, and a father with a good camera. Initially this was a University assignment.

 

The purpose of this assignment was to test my skills by trying my hand at photography (not my strong point) and then digitally altering the images to be somewhat dark and less colour saturated to create an aesthetically pleasing mood board I would then use to come up with a product brand concept.

 

I wasn't quite happy with the branding outcome, it was a rushed assignment in honesty, but I did love the way the photos turned out I took so I wanted to show them off! I was particularly happy with the photos of the Murano glass that I brought back from Italy with me in 2008. I've always wanted a good way to show them off because they usually just hide away in their box so that they don't get broken!
