Being that the case, I had a hard time trying to understand this book and the framework Italian academic and writer Umberto Eco assemble here, yet I come back and again to the book's introduction that clears for me a lot of the field. If Harold Bloom salutes and encourage misreading an author as a creative element in the process of creation, Umberto Eco prefers to disassemble the mechanism of reading and understanding, this is, the inner working of interpretations.
