In our November issue we focus on the topic of »design manuals«. We present classic examples that are still fascinating as well as great current works. The making-of of »New Transport« – a redesign of the legendary typeface that has been in use on all British roadsigns since the sixties is one of our showroom features. And we present fantastic designs from studios from France, Germany and Italy as well as Singapore and the US.
The cover this month is a double cover with a shortened layer – quite a challenge for the bookbinder. Old MAD magazines inspired studio Schmitz & Wiesner to the design and we used Crush by Favini – a paper made from the residue of fruits and nuts.
