I want to investigate the border between recognition and abstraction in Glitch, but through an altogether different lens than the Myopic series. How far can a face be blown apart, obfuscated, or broken before a it becomes unrecognizable? What feature of someone's face is "most important" to their outwardly perceived personality or inward personal identity? Of course, here that lens is our all pervasive relationship with technology. How do we change when we project ourselves via social media, data lines and personal curation versus organic process?
