Star Wars "The Force Awakens" is just around the corner, and I did not want to miss this opportunity to spend a few days working on this piece dedicated to one of those films that have been part of my life since I can remember. Hope to finish several pieces before the premiere!
El proceso / The process
El proceso comenzó con la síntesis básica utilizando la menor cantidad de elementos posibles, pero sin perder los detalles que marcan los razgos más importantes del personaje.
The process began with the basic synthesis using the fewest possible elements, but without losing the details that make the most important traits of character.
Luego la parte más importante del proceso, conseguir el volumen a partir de patrones de líneas. Esta parte es un poco más complicada pero ha valido la pena el tiempo empleado para conseguir un efecto que a mi parecer es bastante original.
Then the most important part of the process, getting volumes from lines patterns. This part is a bit more complicated but it was worth the time taken to achieve an effect which I think is quite original.
La pieza final / Final art
Para terminar, un poco de color y algunas luces para resaltar la silueta. He utilizado el azul porque crea un efecto de luz bastante llamativo.
Finally, some color and some lights to highlight the silhouette. I used blue because it creates a very striking light effect.
