I follow Nicole Guerriero's Youtube chanel. It was very exciting when she released her own skincare brand called Best Damn Beauty. However the packaging and brand aesthetic was slightly underwhelming and did not live up to all the great things that Nicole told us about these products. As part of my final College project, I decided to rebrand Best Damn Beauty and give it the sophisticated, bold face that it deserves.

I choose to go with an achemical inspired theme so I developed a set of unique symbols for the products, the brand and for Nicole herself. This theme came from the dreamy nature of Nicole's tagline that is 'Don't give up on your daydreams'. I later decided to rework the tagline into 'Dream Beautiful' as I felt that the old one was too long.

The printing finishes of the boxes themselves should be matte black card with gold foil.
The queen of the beauty oils. This pattern was inspired by bee's and that idea of being a queen bee. I used stripes but distorted them so that they had an interesting style to them, rather than using just straight lines. 
I wanted a feeling of silk to be evoked with this pattern as the product promises soft lips, thus the gentle waves that almost merge into each other. 
I wanted to focus on water and water ripples for this pattern due to the product being very hydrating for the skin. 
The idea behind this pattern design was that the facial spray is refreshing and adds that glow to the skin. I  went with the concept of glowing and radiating, thus the radiating circles. 
Above are supplement cards that will come in the delivery. They act like business cards but specifically for the consumer, whereas the white business card is used for formal, corporate business. 
The bottles themselves have their uniquely deisgned symbol on them. This relates back to the alchemical theme that I started with and the concept that make-up and skincare are like pills and potions, magical elixirs, the fountain of youth e.c.t..

The full stationary set. I decided on a clean and white theme for the stationary in order to provide a harsh contrast. This gives the brand a subtle edge and boldness.
