This was a piece of virtual product design for The Bradford Exchange UK office in 2008. Wolves are a popular theme for the collectibles company and the recent trend for crystaline effect resin had started. I was briefed to come up with a product reflected these two elements: the crystal wolf was manipulated from a photograph rather than formed in Lightwave. You can do a lot of special effects in photoshop and do them quickly, especially when time is of the essence.
