Print and digital content to promote UK policy on EU reform for Prime Minister's Office
The challenge: The Prime Minister’s Office wanted to promote the case for EU reform to boost growth in Europe. Originally conceived as a policy paper for Davos, the brief quickly grew to include printed booklets in five languages for the press and opinionformers, a public-facing pdf and an animated video for digital channels.
My solution:I worked with Number 10 policy officials to turn a set of graphs and captions into a persuasive document thatput the case for EU reform based on cogent arguments, structured in a logical flow.I identified ‘killer’ statistics from the graphs/charts supplied and worked closely with the designer to turn these into bold infographics with an immediate impact. I also wrote the first draft of an animation script, distilling the essence of the book down to a series of short flash-friendly lines to tell the story for those who hadn’t read the book.
