The Penguin Design Awards - Carrie's War (Children's Fiction)
This project was a competition brief to design a book cover, which involved selecting a book from three seperate categories including adult fiction, adult non-fiction and a children's fiction.
The book cover was illustrated to wrap around so that it would appear to show the continuity of the front and back of the coat worn by the main character Carrie.
The idea was to not show the face of the character as many people who read books prefer to imagine the character personally and I did not want to influence the reader in any way.
