For this project, we were asked to have an experience and create a project around that experience. The experience I chose to do was at home coffee roasting.

 

The project includes process cards that help guide the user through a very simple at home roasting method.

I decided to create a guide-style project to accompany someone on their own at home roasting experience. One aspect of the kit includes coffee bean samples at a variety of key points in the roasting process.

A flavor profile guide was also developed in order to help the coffee roaster refine their tasting palatte. This book utilized a wide variety of paper types.

A little handy guide was also included in the project. This book aims to give tips and tricks for the process.

The project color scheme and pattern were influenced by Ethiopian patterns. The use of cut paper adds dimension to the different elements. This project was very challenging and nothing I've ever done before.
