Two posters, one typeface.
A friend and colleague of mine, Neil, asked that I make up some posters using his latest font, Pinion Display, for the release party. My posters played off of Pinion's flourishes.
Here I used Pinion as a cigarette brand. Pinion also makes for a much more pleasant Surgeon General's warning.
The flourishes in Pinion reminded me of old snake oil advertisements, so I made a poster advertising soap with a similar vibe.
