Civil Defence System Concept
This group project was to develop one idea from an already defined societal need (Safety) and produce a prototype/full scale model, as well as an evaluation document and two visualisation boards.
The idea chosen by the group was an idea for a disaster relief system, specifically an air dispersed communication system.

Initial notes from group meetings to establish which areas needed research, addressing what exactly such a system would require to work and potential design influences.
My role in the group was branding and layout. The name for the system was chosen as 'Sycamore Solutions' due to how the model design had been influenced by sycamore pods. The logo and emblem were created to emphasise this; and highlight how the system was to have no negative impact on the environment it was deployed in.
As this was a Civil Defence based project, and a simple emblem was chosen that was globally recognisable.
The evaluation document had to include research from each group member as well as an optional model report, with complete referencing throughout the document.

The visualisation boards had to be formatted with one for the product/model and one for the system.
The 'Pods' were the product/model featuring the CAD model; while the 'Stem' was the system featuring a potential interface design, a design for the deployment drones, an explanation of the technology behind the network and the system itself and a basic visual representation of the network in use.
