The Popcord is a multiplug that finally allows all the sockets on it to be used properly and easily. If you have adaptors, large plugs or transformers that normally do not fit in a standard multiplug or cover another socket when they do fit, Popcord is the answer you have been looking for!
It expands to allow all South African plug sizes and adaptors as well as creates space around the plug so you can get a good grip on it when you need to remove it. It has 2 USB power charging sockets for smart phones and tablets, 10 two prong sockets for all two prong types and 5 three prong 16A sockets.
It is the final product of a thesis project involving more than a hundred South African user opinons and adresses a design flaw in the South African domestic electrical connection system.
