In 2013, I was given the opportunity to design KW2's agency blog. It would be the first website I would ever create, and certainly not the last. Upon my leaving KW2 in April 2015, I have been walking down memory lane (which actually is the company server), to reminisce on old projects and learning lessons. And now that I  look at it, this blog isn't too bad, considering I designed the whole thing zoomed out at 75% in photoshop (oops).

For the site, there were minimal wireframes, and I felt like I was lost in the fucking desert. I was terrified of the fact that I was in charge of designing the company's blog.. because web design was an entirely different language to me. Now the process seems like second nature.

In addition to designing the site, I was also given the direction of creating a brand that vibes off of KW2's but wasn't entirely the same. I chose a rough texture for all illustrations and icons, played off of the red/gold/black color scheme - and really had fun with it. At the time I was REALLY into the way words fit together, so I started to play around with different headlines, including "Good words from good folks."

The bossman loved it, so it all stuck.

So, here's my first website and with it a big thank you to the agency that has taught me so much.
