Everyone wants to be unique, new and distinctive with his own style of drawing.

But how does someone recognize his own style of drawing?

To find out, I interchanged with many different artists, asked them for their opinion and get a variety of different answers. There is no clear path to find his own style of drawing, no right or wrong answers, but always interesting tips and ideas that can help you.

91 national and international illustrators present their very own style of drawing in the form of a self-portrait beside some words to the topic. Because I would like to share these helpful hints other “searchers,” I initiated this book as an inspiration and companion on the search for your own drawing style.
