'Prael' Beer Collaboration line

This was a project in which an Amsterdam beer brewery named 'De Prael' was going to introduce a collaboration line of five diffirent beers. They teamed up with five other breweries so that each beer would be brewed in their own unique way.
'De Prael' wanted to emit a strong, young and fresh look with these new beers, but it still had to radiate the craft in which 'De Prael' proceed.

In the Netherlands arises currently a trend among young people where they are becoming more interested in special beers instead of the usual beers. So I decided to play with that tought for a while.

I've created a beer label that visualized craftsmanship. So on the labels you can see old craftsmanship professions like a fisherman, baker, woodcutter, farmer and an silversmith.
'the woodcutter' is a stronger beer than for example 'the silversmith'.
because the beer is still brewed in a artisian way, the beers where given a vintage look, so you can immediately see that this is real beer crafted by real man.

These beers now also stand in an dutch beer museum where people recently have asked if there was a way to taste those beers.
