LA NONESTATE
- The non-summer -

Summer in Italy is a statement. From early June till September, schools are closed and the sun is shining high. You wait and wait and wait till finally, precisely every year, the day comes. You forget about everything and it's time to enjoy the beach life. Far from the city. For 3 months, or 3 weeks, or 3 days, there's no chance you'll spend a summer without going to the seaside.

The beaches along the Riviera Romagnola in Italy are probably the biggest show-off of post Second World War resorts in the whole country. Their style is unique and distinct. And their purpose only suits the summer season.

And of course, every year when summer ends everything is like frozen. Empty and lifeless until the next summer comes.

However, only during this long season, the non-summer, the Riviera Romagnola reveals something magical.

The old-fashioned and messy scenario hasn’t changed in ages and the sequence of a summery colour palette applied randomly still makes you hear that beach buzz.
