The audience would fallow a similar demographic to PositiveNegative magazine readers. Most would be 20-30 years old and a good chunk of them would be in college. The magazine is centered around Rochester and is produced by college students, so it is likely that most readers would live in Western New York or be related to someone in Western New York. The gender would lean more towards females though the magazine was kept neutral in style to appeal to all crowds.

This was made for PositiveNegative magazine.  The spread itself was a positive article revolved around the benefits of cosplaying. For those who don’t know, “Cosplaying” is the art of dressing up as a character from a series, from movies, to anime and games. We went a more “Sucker Punch” look to get at the concept of escaping reality and making your own. The color scheme and layout was intended to be dream-like to hint at the more fantastical aspects of cosplaying. The title “The Visage” was chosen as a way to express the physical appearance of things, and it was golden and embossed to make the spread appear similar to a movie poster.
