Grand Canyon Photography

The Grand Canyon, being one of the most photographed and most iconic landmarks in our country is sometimes difficult to photograph and make your photos stand out against the millions of photos taken of it. I photographed the canyon at sunrise and sunset and tried to capture the brilliant, vibrant colors that the canyon developed from the rising and setting sun.
The Grand Canyon nearing sunset.
As the sun starts to set, the color of the canyon becomes brighter and more vibrant.
The colors of the canyon deepening as the sun goes down.
This photo was taken at sunrise when the rocks were just starting to light up from the sun.
The bright colors aglow with the setting sun.
The railroad near the canyon was so lit up with the setting sun.
Taken at sunrise, the same railroad lights up with the sun.
The clouds changed to the most beautiful colors as the sun rose.
A shot down into the bottom of the canyon shows how truly vast it really is.
