My friendship with Olga Yanum began in 2018 when she sought a movement director for the Salutaris choir. Our first collaboration was a concert at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, where I choreographed movements (not traditional dance) for the choir artists. This initial project marked the beginning of a fruitful partnership.
Our collaboration expanded to include joint productions between Altana and Salutaris, as well as between Altana and the Choir Chapel. Screens. Together, we created numerous performances in Belarus and toured extensively in Russia, France, Germany, and Austria.
Audiences have often expressed their surprise and delight at our innovative fusion of choral art and modern choreography. Our work transcends the traditional boundaries of sound and movement, integrating them with the surrounding space to create immersive, multidimensional experiences.
