The task of the design was to revitalize a part of the Saint Marti district in Barcelona with a creation of a public use building.

Because of the presence of an Art Center, a fuction of exhibition space was choosen for the building. Since the Art Center is not open to the public for most of the year, an exhibiton and workshop space was provided for the use of the artists.

New public spaces enchanced with water features were created. Location of them was choosen so that they can reflect the body of the church that is the key element in the area. The existing trees were preserved and many more  were added to make the space even more attractive for the users.
