The concept for this infographic was to bring awareness to mental health and suicide. Mental health is not talked about as much as it should be. Mental illness tends to go untreated and unnoticed. The purpose for making this infographic was to show people around my school that it is okay not to be okay and the extremely large numbers of individuals that suffer from mental disorders and illnesses. I used Adobe InDesign for my design, while on this program I used the different data displaying tools such as pie charts and bar graphs to represent the statistics I found for this topic. My work is currently proudly hung in my school's hallway in hopes it will have a positive effect on peers around and show them that even if you feel alone, so many others are going through the same thing.
