This project was geared toward playing around with Neue Haas Grotesk Bold and Stempel Garamond. Using these san serif and serif fonts I was tasked with designing two compositions, using principles of design and a few specifications. These included using between five to eight different alphanumeric glyphs, with at least two of these glyphs in white and two in black. The compositions were to be created in only black and white, and there needed to be at least five different anatomical attributes of type present within the design. This was a great introductory project for this typography class, as I was able to study the forms and characteristics of these two fonts while creating interesting designs.
