For this project I was given the prompt to update the packaging of a brand that I enjoy. I wanted to focus on using bright visuals to represent the young audience candy is targeted toward, as well as the positive experiences that candy can be associated with. To do this, in Adobe Illustrator I would use bright colors - which varied depending on the candy - to match the color scheme of the candy itself in a pattern, using a simplified shape of the candy. In promotional photos, I would also pair them with a stock image in Adobe Photoshop that would remind the buyers of the movies they would eat this candy during and be nudged toward that joy they felt while watching them and eating Haribo.
