In collaboration with the "Ujście Warty" National Park, I have created a series of illustrations.
The birds living in these region are particularly close to my heart, as I have visited the park's areas and observed geese, various ducks, and pipers. Therefore, I was very happy about the opportunity for such collaboration.
Four species have been selected: Lapwing, Little Owl, Bearded Tit, and the Kingfisher.
Below is the first stage of the project – sketches. Here are some of the drawings.
The next stage: sketches on a graphics tablet. I transferred the drawings into digital, selected colors, and background elements.
It turned out that the illustrations corresponded to the seasons, creating a diverse color series. The Lapwing represents spring, the Kingfisher – summer, and the Bearded Tit is in a winter atmosphere. The Little Owl would fit well with autumnal oranges and browns.
The four final illustrations:
The mugs are available for purchase only at the
Park's headquarters (Chyrzyno 1, 69-113 Górzyca).
I highly recommend a trip to that area, especially in spring and during autumn migration.
