Greetings, everyone! With four years of experience in the field, my background includes a tenure as a marketing strategist at a Russian beauty school, followed by two years of active involvement in the international arena. My inaugural launch in the United States, funded with a $16,000 budget, took place two years ago and served as a foundational step in my international endeavors.

Today, I am excited to delineate how our team constructed an online school catering to the Spanish-speaking demographic, culminating in over $200,000 in revenue.

Given my extensive involvement in the beauty sector, we embarked on a quest for an expert within the Spanish-speaking realm. Our quest led us to Lorena from Argentina.
Lorena possessed her own face massage intensive program. It comprised a four-hour Zoom recording of exercises, rendering navigation impossible and efficacy negligible for students.

Our proposed solution involved crafting a 21-day intensive program on a bot platform, dispensing two brief exercises and informative articles daily, both in the morning and evening. The concept garnered enthusiasm and promised convenience for students.

In determining the platform for implementation, we opted for Telegram, leveraging its underutilization in Argentina to position it as a "Course in our app." This strategy would encourage users to download the app solely for our intensive program, ensuring a streamlined and cost-effective implementation.
To gauge interest and conduct pre-sales, we enlisted Lorena's audience and executed a one-day warm-up via stories on the blog. Encouragingly, we witnessed robust demand, securing initial funding to cover team expenses, production, technical requisites, and marketing, thus launching the project without any financial contribution from the expert.
This marked the prelude to our inaugural webinar. For lead generation, webinar hosting, and CRM functionality, we adopted the Spanish iteration of Getcourse, a pragmatic choice owing to its functionality, analytics, and cost efficiency compared to foreign counterparts.

Despite Lorena's sizable Instagram following, we scarcely leveraged the platform, save for its nascent stages. Instead, our success derived from constructing an auto-funnel with webinars and soliciting traffic via Instagram advertisements.

Following two to three weeks of preparation, over 1000 individuals partook in our maiden live webinar. While prospects seemed auspicious, complications arose with the payment system on Getcourse. Integrating Mercado Pago, a familiar payment system in Argentina, alongside Stripe for international payments engendered confusion among clients, resulting in erroneous clicks and payment impediments.
Post-webinar, our sales department assisted clients in navigating payment hurdles. Subsequent webinars operated seamlessly, facilitated by geolocation-based payment methods orchestrated through collaboration with Getcourse's international division.

Subsequently, we constructed a four-webinar funnel addressing diverse audience concerns, complemented by email and messenger campaigns. Additionally, a sales department was established to field inquiries, ultimately yielding monthly revenue in the vicinity of $30,000 with approximately 50% profitability.

Minimal involvement from the expert was required, with the course fully recorded and webinars pre-arranged, necessitating only a live Zoom Q&A session monthly for new enrollees—a near-perfect scenario.

However, our trajectory was impeded by the Argentine peso's depreciation. Overlooking the nation's economic volatility, monthly currency conversion from local to dollar denominations resulted in diminishing returns. Consequently, amid a precipitous peso devaluation in August 2023, we elected to terminate the project and pivot toward more stable markets.
Despite this setback, our foray into the Spanish-speaking market was a valuable learning experience, underscored by success and intrigue despite occasional missteps. It signifies not an endpoint but a commencement.
