We are faced with design everyday, most off the time we don't even realise it. The idea with this project was to look at an everyday object and assess its design potential. 

I wanted to re-style the pocket lighter but also add no unnecessary material. I looked at the city, the night life and the atmosphere of cosmopolitain lifestyles.  The combination of the city’s skyline and the geometric shapes of metropolitan living creates the ‘GO’ lighter. To some, this lighter may be a critique of contemporary city living assenting the distance from an organic lifestyle.
