Launching the Scaler Discord Mascot - Blueto aka The Cephalocoder
The Brief:
The Challenge was to create a mascot that represents the brand for India's biggest tech learning server on Discord! The mascot had to be something the server members could relate to and communicate with.
With only 20 days available, my team and I sat down to ideate and create everything from how the mascot looks, talks and align itself with the brand.
The Impact:
For the next 72 hours all eyes were on us and the server registered the highest engagement, this also got some attention online on social media and resulted in server membership going from 1,40,272 - 1,46,839 in that time span.
My role:
I was tasked with coming up with a plan to introduce the mascot to our community in a way that excites and engages them. I also created all the comms, memes and strategy for the raids.
