Made for a university project, but done with the heart. This brand, "Iced Ink", has been a treasured dream of mine since I was a young girl. Combining my two passions into one, tattoos and coffee, to create an oasis of creativity and treats. Done fully within Adobe, this project is a reflection of what I live for - to inspire and pour into others (pun intended).
This sleek icon on the right is meant to emmulate a classic coffee been. By aligning the two I's in Iced Ink on top of another, I was able to create the ridge that runs through every bean.
Below, are two business card concepts. The front of the card being the first and third slide, and their corresponding backs being to their right as the second and fourth card. Made with an intention to be utilized for efficiency and a heart for bringing the customer back. Location, mission statement, and invitations to participate with our team are done through a linked social media page and interactive stamp card. What's better than free coffee? More coffee.
"FUEL YOUR SOUL, DECORATE YOUR VESSEL."
The tagline itself channels a Christian worldview as it describes our bodies as a ‘vessel’. This phrase is used often when describing our earthly bodies given to us by Christ. We were meant to be after Gods own heart in the body we’ve been bestowed with, so why not decorate?
Below are two concepts for future advertisements. The first, for a social media post on Instagram. With social media being as relevant as ever in young adult generations, it is essential to have a strong social media brand presence to reach the targeted audience. Using Procreate for iPad, I sketched 12 varying designs for this concept, choosing #10 as the best fit.
Next, is an advertisement concept is for a hiring billboard. Using verbiage such as ‘family’ or a phrase like ‘you could too’ are great, simple words that show immense care and support of anyone interested in applying for the job. Coffee and tattoos are a very common interest among younger generations so showcasing both of our services was vital for viewers to understand the full vision of this brand.
Finally, we have some concept art for products that may be purchased. On the left, a hot coffee cup decorated simply with the bean icon. On the right, some take home coffee grounds- so good coffee can go anywhere.
