The project brief calls for a standard-finish, two-story residence with a balcony situated on an inside lot. The site boundary is rectangular in shape with very flat terrain. Fronting is a national road, overlooking the sea behind. The project aims to promote a simple and modern design that is economically feasible.
The form concept resembles a ship, relating to the client as a sailor. The roofs provide proper orientation to sustain strong winds and rains. The upper balcony serves as a recreational space for the family, overlooking the barangay plaza and the sea behind.
The project is a three-bedroom house with provisions for one carport and a high-ceiling living area. The interior design is straightforward, with minimal decorations to promote simplicity and elegance. The floor plan is an open layout to make the interior economical and spacious.
