Reconnect: Publication Design
Reconnect is a publication targeted towards people living or visiting inner city Melbourne, educating them on a variety of natural environments surrounding the CBD. The publication takes the shape of a series of cards, 9 of which contain information on different areas to visit, ranging from creeks, rivers, beaches, wetlands, bushland, grasslands and lakes. Each of the 9 cards has directions from the CBD, a brief introduction to the areas nature and a QR code linked to a riding route built to allow the viewer to explore the area. On the other side of each of the 9 cards is a letter drawn through the process of cycling tracked by GPS at that cards specific location. The cards lined up together spell R-E-C-O-N-N-E-C-T.
