2018
My BA final project '/IRL' was a series of short-form documentary videos with a companion website exploring online harassment against women. I produced and co-edited the film, alongside Clarisse Ong.
It featured interviews with Azmina Dhrodia from Amnesty International and Seyi Akiwowo from Glitch, as well as two students sharing their experiences of being targeted online.
It was screened at Goldsmiths' 'Sex-Gender-Rights' event, as part of the Human Rights Film Festival in January 2019.
The film is designed to be viewed on the companion website, which you can watch here. It features a ‘Help and Resources’ page, with links to charities and information on dealing with issues such as account security and doxxing.

Glitch Art
As the film focused on technology and the Internet, glitch art heavily influenced the aesthetics of the project.
I used two glitch art processes on filmed and archive footage - hex glitching using the software HexFiend and datamoshing, using Avidemux.
Motion Graphics
Inspired by old Windows OS interfaces, I created the following motion graphics to visualise facts and figures from Amnesty International's 2017 report on online abuse. These animations were created using Photoshop and After Effects.
