Motion graphics videoclip by Suko Pyramid + microbians
"Revenge" shows us a couple integrating into a newly formed cult. The boyfriend resonates with the leader’s speeches whilst the girlfriend finds them to be dishonest. This tension progressively divides the couple, unfolding in unplanned and perhaps fruitless revenge.

Our creative process started with Adrian (Suko) who wrote the song and the script we followed diligently. Then we created an animatic to go along with. I should mention that in the meantime we were also working on the artwork for the single release which is inspired by my previous microbians digital-collage works (microbians.com/digitalcollage) several backgrounds were created in that style as well. The shooting took us one single day: We shot it with an iPhone in 4K on a green screen background. After all the videos were properly processed we composed and edited the whole music video with After Effects. Keeping the digital-collage and stop motion aesthetic we utilized low frame rates and plenty of other effects to our advantage. I was very careful to clean up the green screen shots to keep the hair detailed for example. It was a difficult task but given that the characters are in black and white it could’ve been even harder.

My name is Adrián Suchowolski but I go by Suko Pyramid online. I am a multidisciplinary artist based in Madrid. Music is the clear basis of my creation. Once completed, I usually accompany it with static and moving images to expand the narrative and aesthetic aspect already present in the base. I primarily compose, produce, direct, illustrate, animate and occasionally act. I have a live band that is adapting to the new music I am writing at the moment and with them I have played in emblematic venues all over Madrid, including: Moby Dick, Wurlitzer, La Costello, Sala Moe, Fotomatón… And so on. My animated music video for the single “Don’t Say Sorry” was finalist at the Croatian animation festival “Supertoon (2023)” to which I was invited to attend, and at the “Opavský Páv Festival (2023)” held in the Czech Republic. This being my first project of this nature and duration that I completed without external help.

I'm Creative, Senior Art Director working on design, illustration, and motion graphics, specialized in solving projects that mix programming, animation, and design, but principally llustration. Showcased in several design publications such as IdN, IndexBook, or Taschen and won several prizes like a LAUS for a TV identity for La Sexta. My pieces were exhibited at ArtBabel, ArtBox - Street Gallery, Expo Alicante, Expo BCN, NY.NFT 2023, Soul NFT Fair 2023, and VIbrant in last years, before all that in Arteleku award for his piece ‘Work&Work’ (BCN), Design for Freedom, MINI La MJC (Paris), Sicilio Project (Bolivia) , or PANOS at 2004 - fake road signs at the streets of Lyon
