Works Progress Administration poster theme.

Designed a travel advertisement featuring Tahoe. The purpose of this poster is to publicize community activities and promote travel through a positive light. The illustration's purpose is to market this idea by also shining a positive view on design in a marketing aspect.

I was inspired by an Art Deco font and focused on using complimentary colors to create a poster design that easily captures the viewers attention. The goal is to find a creative way of cultivating the public to engage in community activities by traveling to the given destination of Tahoe.

I learned how to illustrate my idea by using Adobe Illustrator to create a layered poster that emphasizes the characteristics of a classic WPA themed advertisement. This poster can still be affectively used in positively marketing travel.

I designed and drew all the shapes and forms by hand using Photoshop.
