The Magi Saga is a fictional world and story I have been creating and adding to for several years now.
I have already written a Novel set in this world thats available on Kindle here.

EPIC CALLING; THE MAGI SAGA - On Kindle

EPIC CALLING: THE MAGI SAGA - Printed Book

I have more stories to tell and more characters to show in this world, as this is an on-going project.

Below is the main Character Amanda, played here by model Claire.

Below is another image of Yasmin, the Saga's main villian.
Aagin played by Claire in this image.

Below is the Character Rebecca, she is a member of the highly trained "Acane Angels" strike team.
Although not a Magi, she is an Initiated, someone who is aware of the Magi hidden in the shadows.
I'm hoping to start some short stories set around this group.
Check out the Speed Art for the above image here;

This is Yasmin, she's a very powerful Magus, and if the Magi Saga has a main villian, she is it. Cunning, intelligent, cruel and sociopathic, she's not someone you want to meet on a dark night.
You can meet her in the novel.
You can also read this short story about an Initiated who meets Yasmin and survives.

Fatal Meeting

Few have seen Yasmin, and fewer still have lived to speak of it, especially amongst us Initiated.
It happened years ago now, back before I had become an Archivist for the Arcanum, back when I was part of one of the Arcanum’s Strike Teams.
We had been good, very good. One of the best, and the mission had been, or more accurately, should have been, a routine one.
Get in, deal with security, get the info we needed and get out again. These things never do run to plan, we knew that, it was part of our job to be trained and equipped to deal with things when they went sideways, which they frequently did.
The place was a building on an industrial site, owned by whatever shady organisation was flavour of the week that week, to be used and spat out by the Nomads as they saw fit. That’s why we were there, we knew the Nomads were using them, we just weren’t sure which Nomads and why, and that was our mission. Intel gathering for the Council, so they knew what they were dealing with.
But that ended up being the problem, that day, we didn’t know what we were dealing with.
We got in fine, took down security as we found them, breached several rooms and moved in nice and smooth and quiet.
We were a team of 4, and when we reached the objective we split up. The intel would take time to gather up and download, so two of us went out to keep an eye on the security and make sure we weren’t disturbed.
It was myself and Taylor who went out, we made our way round the area, keeping a look out for more goons, but things were quiet and we circled back round to meet up with our 2 other team members.
Things were taking a while so we were on our guard, wondering what might be wrong. In this game you can’t be too careful, we were little fish swimming in an ocean of very hungry sharks, so we went in hot, effectively breaching the room a second time.
We usually have warning that something’s amiss, the tech we carry can detect the residual traces of Essentia, so we usually have warning when something is really bad. But we could never be ready for her.
The room was a mess, things had been thrown around all over the place since we had been in here, but not a sound had made it to our ears, and at the back of the room stood a single figure, hooded and cloaked, shadows gathering about her like living darkness as she gazed down at what had been our two team mates. The mess was incredible, there were a few parts still intact, but whole chunks of my two bothers in arms were blown to bits, blood, pints and pints of blood painted the walls crimson.
I’d seen death before, many times, I’d killed people too, in the line of duty. But it had always been clean, fast, clinical and professional.
But this was different, the killer had enjoyed this, revelled in it, and when she turned her head towards us, that red lipped smile said it all.
We reacted differently Taylor and I, he went straight to rage and ran at her, gun barking, screaming as he went while strobe light from his guns muzzle flash filled the room.
I backed off, shock filling my mind with horror as I reversed out the room, mouth agape.
As Taylor ran, the slugs from his rifle bouncing off her force shield with bursts of pyrotechnics as they hit, the woman inclined her head so I got a better look at her face.
Taylors body just burst apart in front of me, blood and tissue flew a meter of so from where he had stood before landing with sickening splats.
I locked eyes with his killer, and I knew who she was, I’d read the reports, and I knew my life was at an end. But her look changed, as if she’d heard something in the distance. Suddenly her attention wasn’t on me anymore, it was on something more important, although I can’t say what it was, even to this day.
She glanced at me once more and winked, before she disappeared into thin air, Porting out to god knows where.
That was the one and only time I saw her, the woman known as Yasmin. I’m one of the few non-Magi to live to tell the tale of my encounter. I suppose that makes me lucky, not that I feel it.
She took 3 people I loved dearly away from me, so no, I don’t feel lucky.
I quit the team that same day all those years ago, and dedicated myself to the Archive. These days I am quite the authority on Yasmin. She may be the monster we use to frighten young Magi, the Nomad above all others, a mystery and a killer, someone I hope no Magi ever meets, but she’s also become something of an obsession to me. I hope to meet her once more before my time is up, maybe to ask her why, and maybe she’ll answer, or maybe she’ll let me join my brothers once more.
