My production steps for a comic book page.
This is a page from the comic book O Segredo do Bonzo – script by Lillo Parra adapting the short story by Machado de Assis.
In the first image we see the sketch presented to the editor; in the second, the page in the final artwork; in the third, the color version and finally the lettering.

The final edition had 50 pages of comics and it took me around 4 months to deliver the final work (drawing, inks, colors and lettering).
All the drawing was done in Photoshop and the lettering in Illustrator with the support of a Cintiq 21 inches.

Due to the filters and textures applied to the art, the lettering was inserted into Photoshop as a smart object.

Esta é uma página da HQ O Segredo do Bonzo – roteiro de Lillo Parra adaptando o conto de Machado de Assis.

Na primeira imagem vemos o esboço apresentado ao editor; na segunda, a página na arte-final; na terceira, a versão em cores e finalmente o letreiramento.

A edição final teve 50 páginas de quadrinhos e levei cerca de 4 meses para entregar o trabalho final (desenho, arte-final, cores e letras).
Toda a parte de desenho foi feita no Photoshop e o letreiramento no Illustrator com o suporte de uma Cintiq 21 polegadas.
Em razão dos filtros e texturas aplicados na arte, o letreiramento foi inserido no Photoshop como um smart objetc.
