BRANDING -- MAIN TITLE SEQUENCE -- PROJECTION CONTENT -- AD CAMPAIGN IMAGERY
For this assignment, we had to address several aspects of the production and promotion of the new show of Martin Matte, which was announced with great fanfare on the TVA network. For the main title sequence, we thoroughly enjoyed crafting and animating on the music composed by Dumas. Prior to animation, we arranged a photoshoot with photographer Jocelyn Michel to capture the necessary images of Martin's head and hands for both the sequence and the promotional imagery (pictured above). We worked closely with the artistic director, Jonas Bouchard, and the lighting technician to create content for the stage screens, in order to design a universe that harmonizes perfectly with the whole. We had to create three different states corresponding to distinct segments of the show. We also designed transitions to move from one state to another.
Avec son humour un peu irrévérencieux, mais toujours pertinent, Martin Matte passe au travers de l'actualité à sa manière et reçoit chaque semaine un invité spécial. Tout cela, accompagné du chanteur Dumas et sa bande.
IDENTITÉ VISUELLE -- SÉQUENCE D'OUVERTURE -- CONTENU DE PROJECTION -- VISUEL DE PROMO
Pour ce mandat, nous devions aborder plusieurs aspects de la production et de la promotion de la nouvelle émission de Martin Matte, annoncée en grande pompe sur le réseau TVA. Pour la séquence du générique d'ouverture, nous avons pris grand plaisir à concevoir et à animer sur la musique composée par Dumas. Avant d'animer le tout, nous avons organisé une séance photo avec le photographe Jocelyn Michel pour capturer les images nécessaires de la tête et des mains de Martin pour la séquence ainsi que pour l'imagerie promotionnelle (illustrée ci-dessus). Nous avons travaillé en étroite collaboration avec le directeur artistique, Jonas Bouchard, et l'éclairagiste pour créer du contenu pour les écrans de scène, afin de concevoir un univers qui s'harmonise parfaitement avec l'ensemble. Nous devions créer trois états différents correspondant à des segments distincts de l'émission. Nous avons également conçu des transitions pour passer d'un état à l'autre.
