SPELLCASTER OF TOMBSTONE TEMPLE
Spellcaster of Tombstone Temple is an immersive board game where players step into the magical realm of witches, each vying to ascend to the coveted position at the top of the mystical hierarchy. As multiplayers, participants assume the roles of skilled witches, armed with spells, hexes, and cunning strategies
MECHANICS
1. To determine the order of the play, the players must each roll the die; the player with the highest number goes first.
2. All players must start at the lowest tier, southeast of the board. The players’ steps are determined by the number that shows up when they roll the die after which they must draw a card. The players are to play clockwise. Once they reach the tile before the starting tile they proceed to the southeast corner tile of the next tier.
There are 4 spell cards; paralysis, sleep, fortune, and curse. The player may choose to use the card upon drawing or further in the game unless it is cast upon himself.
- Paralysis spell cards will stop a player from playing for 2 rounds while Sleep spell cards will stop a player for 3. These are called affliction spell cards.
- Fortune spell cards may grant you immunity from the affliction spell cards or teleport you to the start of the succeeding tier although the latter is very rare.
- Curse spell cards grant the spellcaster the power to move any player back. The number is determined by a die roll.
3. The objective of the game is to reach the last tier. The first player to do so will be the victor.
